Jordan, an Arab country on the east bank of the Jordan River, is characterized by old landmarks, nature stores and coastline resorts. Its home to the really popular archaeological site of Petra, the Nabatean capital dating to around 300 B.C. Tour Overview

Day 01

Arrival in Amman

  • On your arrival in Jordan, you will be transferred from the airport to your hotel in Amman

  • Check-in and unwind for a while. You may go out and explore the nearby places on your own, later.

  • Enjoy a comfortable night at the hotel.

Day 02

Amman Tour – Desert Castles – Amman

  • Your day will start with a sumptuous breakfast following which you will head to the downtown part of the capital city to enjoy a 2-hour Tour of Amman. Visit the Archeological Museum, the Folklore Museum, the Citadel, the Blue Mosque, and the Amphitheatre and immerse yourself in the ancient history of Jordan.

  • Then, proceed to the Eastern Desert to see the Al Kharraneh Castle, the Amra Castle (a UNESCO World Heritage site), and the black basalt fortress of Al Azraq Castle where Lawrence of Arabia resided and wrote a part of his book Seven Pillars of Wisdom

  • Enjoy a comfortable night at the hotel

Day 03

Istanbul to Cappadocia

  • Post a fulfilling breakfast at the hotel, you will start for the ancient Roman city of Jerash.

  • Take a walk back in time as you stroll through the well-preserved Roman ruins, the hilltop temples, public squares and plazas, theatres and fountains.

  • Next, you will visit Ajloun, one of the most important ecological sites in the Middle East. Explore the Ajloun Castle which is a fine surviving representation of Islamic architecture from 1184 AD.

  • Enjoy a comfortable night at the hotel

Day 04

Pella - Um Qais - Amman

  • Today, after breakfast, you will head to Pella where you can see the ruins of the Greco-Roman period and the remains of a Chalcolithic Settlement from the 4th millennium BC

  • Next, you will proceed to Um Qais, home to several poets and philosophers. Walk through Um Qais and see its impressive colonnaded streets, domed terrace and the ruins of two theatres

  • Enjoy a comfortable night at the hotel.

Day 05

Madaba - Mt Nebo - Um Ar Rasaas - Petra

  • After a delicious breakfast, you will depart for Madaba, the city of Mosaics. It is best known for its Mosaic Map of Jerusalem and Holy Land from the 6th century.

  • From there, you will head towards Mt Nebo, a city which finds mention in the Bible as the place from where Moses was granted a view of the Promised Land (site-only visit as the church is closed for renovation)

  • The tour will continue to the south of Jordan to the Umm Ar Rassas (a UNESCO World Heritage site), and the 12th-century Kerak Castle built on a triangular plateau

  • Enjoy a comfortable night at the hotel.

Day 06

Petra

  • Savour breakfast at the hotel and prepare to visit the Nabatean Red Rose City of Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will have to cross a 1 km narrow gorge before you can be treated to a breath-taking delight of stunning colours, unique rock formations, hundreds of elaborate rock-cut tombs, a treasury, Roman-style theatres, temples, sacrificial altars and colonnaded streets

  • Enjoy a comfortable night at the hotel.

Day 07

Wadi Rum - Aqaba - Wadi Araba - Dead Sea

  • Today, post breakfast at the hotel, you will head out to explore Wadi Rum (the Valley of the Moon) on a one and a half hour Jeep Ride into the Jordanian Desert

  • Next, you will proceed to Aqaba, the only coastal city in Jordan. The Gulf of Aqaba is blessed with a rich marine life, making it a popular destination for water sports such as snorkelling and diving

  • After enjoying the pristine environs of Aqaba, you will depart for the Dead Sea through Wadi Araba

  • Enjoy a comfortable night at the hotel

  4. The pricing is computed at the current Rate of Exchange of 1 USD = 65 INR. In case of any increase in the Rate of Exchange, the difference will have to be paid
  5. The rights to vary, amend, alter or withdraw any particular itinerary, departure or excursion rests entirely with the company. Due to demand of a particular airline, the in/out points may change. Services, however, will remain unchanged
  6. Any damages caused to the hotel rooms/coach during the stay shall be borne by the concerned passengers

The company shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss of baggage, loss, injury, accident, death, breakdown or irregularity, which may occur in carrying out tour arrangements due to weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine or any other cause whatsoever, and all such losses or expenses must be borne by the passengers

  9. There are no refunds for any services, i.e., meals, sightseeing, etc. not utilized on the tour
  10. On days when certain attractions, sights, monuments, museums, etc. are closed, the tour manager reserves the right to amend the itinerary/cancel the visit
